Freedom Week!

Shopping in Park City Was so fun! My mom had all her sisters there and all had a great time together! :) A couple of them hadn't ever been and were pleasantly surprised

The Gala Was So Great there were so many amazing stories of people who have served our country so well. There were 4 people who were awarded awards
One that stood out to me was about a girl named Elizabeth Howell who met her husband while attending School in Idaho. Her Husbands dream job was to work in International Intelligence and he gave his life doing it as an intern doing intelligence work in the Pentagon on September 11Th 2001 when the plane was flown into the building. After her husbands funeral she went back to school and got her degree as a nurse practitioner. She later assisted the Red Cross emergency response teams after hurricane Katrina and Rita. She THEN joined the LDS Humanitarian Services and works to physically and emotionally heal others who have also experienced great tragedies. It was so inspiring to hear all of these neat stories. This was one that stood out to me. I just wanted to go up there and give her a big hug :)

What a great Holiday! It was such an awesome week! to start it Mac and I went to the Gala and got all dressed up in tux's and nice dresses and had a great dinner and watched amazing people who has served our country get awards for there amazing service. With what is happening in our world today it really made me so grateful for my country and how blessed I am to live in it! I really am so proud to be an American!
We had all of my moms family over at my parents house from Idaho and Arizona. It was so great to see them. We had a BBQ and played games and had volleyball tournaments! Saturday all the boys went golfing and the girls went SHOPPING! We went up to park city and shopped till we dropped! Then went to the Stadium Of Fire! One word WOW!!!!! It was so amazing we had 3 row tickets and it was perfect. Carrie Underwood couldn't have put on a better show! The fireworks were amazing! It was all so patriotic and felt so good to be there
