Its a girl!

I had my ultrasound and it was soooo fun! McKay and I were amazed that we could actually see our little baby like that. We were excited to find out that we were having a girl, however I was seriously convinced that it was a boy and would have bet anything on it, so sure infact that we had our names picked out, I had all my nursery stuff picked out not even concidering the fact that it could still be a girl, but I really suck at guessing games so its alright.  We were also really happy to know that everything was looking really good and the baby seems to be healthy. Shes the size she needs to be all the major organs are functioning as they should be, the heart sounds great and she seems to be moving around alot. There is one thing that they are wanting to check at my next ultrasound that has to do with some vessils going into her blatter, but other then that she's looking perfect and is doing good.
Now I get to start on the nursery! Yay! Its about time! Her nursery right now is the most hideous neon green with tonz of junk filling up the room so I'm excited to start.  Were going to be buying new furniture for the room in the next month, so I think being able to start the process of getting things ready for her will help make these last 4 months go by faster...hopefully.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity and the blessing that I get to be a mom. This whole experience has been hard at moments but also very special and I'm so thankful to my heavenly father for blessing me with a little baby girl.

  1. Make sure to save the receipts for your baby stuff just in case the techs were wrong and a little boy comes out! :)
