Freedom Week!

Are we seriously into July already????! Holy smokes!! I cant believe were this far into the year already!  It was such a great 4th of July!! Last week Mac and I went to the Freedom Awards Gala, which was awesome of course! I did take my camera but when I got there,  I realized it was dead! I was so mad! Love it when that happens.....not.  So I didn't get any pictures, but it really was great.

We took Bostyn the the Parade and she loved it! First one ever and It was a success, even though It was super hot. Mckay's mom is on the Freedom Festival committee, so she was able to save us some seats on the bleachers under the shade which helped a lot. Bostyn love the Fire Trucks and Policemen on their motorcycles and all the big floats. I'm glad we were able to go with her and that she did so well.

Then the stadium! I'm so glad we are able to every year!!! When Mac and I heard It was the Beach Boys this year, we were kinda like, Eh, maybe we wont go, BUT! I'm sooooo glad we did. The Beach Boys were A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Really! We were quite surprised.  Especially for being so old, they but on an great show! It was so perfect for that kind of setting. And now I can say I've been to one of their concerts! It was a blast! And Bostyn Loved it! She only cried once and I cant even really remember why. I did have to take her out for part of the show while she took a little cat nap, but we just pluged her ears for all the really loud stuff and she was so smiley and giggly.

I'm so thankful for this great country we live it. Even though there are so many awful things that are happening in it, and politics are a joke right now, and so many corrupt things happening in our government.  There are still great things in it too. Its still the best Country.  The flag still means the same thing in our hearts.
