cozy cabin christmas

Let me just start off by saying how HORRIBLE I was will all capital letters, at documenting the events of this year. Oh my gosh I am ashamed. I did not take enough pictures and I am so sad about it. Especially with us having Bostyn with us. Boo. I get a big fat F!!!!!!

This year we spent christmas at our cabin in Timberlakes! Although Bostyn and I were both sick, it was still perfect! I can't believe how much more fun Christmas is with a kid! Oh my gosh it was so fun! I loved watching her open her presents! Even though she probably didn't really understand what was happening, it was still awesome!
I loved all the snow we had up there, which makes it that much more magical, and It was just so cozy.
Christmas eve we just played games with mckays family (and ate way too much of course) then watched some christmas movies.
That morning bostyn and I were feeling worse but tried to bust through it. Mac SPOILED ME this year.

Mckay got me......
-An Ice maker (obsessed with pebbled Ice)
-New nike running shoes which were ADORABLE!
-A gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond for my down comforter! Whoot Whoot!
-Some super cute sweats and top from Victorias secret

My mom and dad got me some awesome stuff as well! I'm so lucky to have them :)

Santa saw how good of a girl Bostyn was all year! Just the sweetest baby ever!
She got some awesome toys from him and from grandma's and grandpas!

I Did something a little different for mckay this year! I loved the Idea of the 12 days of Christmas but wanted to make it a little more special then just giving him a gift everyday. So I made it. "The 12 Dates of Christmas" So every day starting on the 12th for the countdown. I planned a date with him....unfortunatly some night didn't work out as planned but I we did our best to make them work. Some included getting a baby sitter and some didn't. Here is what I came up with!!

-Date 1 Temple square to look at light (City Creek included)
-Date 2 Date night in watch a movie and play cards
-Date 3 Walk around River woods
-Date 4 Make him Breakfast (since it was sunday, not a whole lot of options)
-Date 5 Drive up the canyon and take hot chocolate
-Date 6 Go to a BYU basketball game (macs favorite)
-Date 7 Temple Night! And get dinner after
-Date 8 Shop for his favorite ingredients and cook dinner together at home
-Date 9 Dinner and a movie
-Date 10 Night in Favorate Christmas movie and pop popcorn
-Date 11 Last minute christmas shopping and Dinner at a nice restaurant
-Date 12 Christmas eve. Snowmobile ride, Hot chocolate, and give him a christmas love letter

What an Awesome Christmas! We had so much fun and I'm so thankful for all my family and friends who love me and give so much
