I'm the lucky one

I find that most people either hate Valentines Day, or love it.  I personally like it, mostly because I'm reminded how special my husband is, and how lucky I am to have him in my life. I think its awesome that we have a special day to remind each other of that.  We had a really fun night, and it was really fun with bostyn too. We went to dinner in Salt lake, and exchanged some gifts. Mckay was so cute, he went out and got some clothes for bostyn and earlier in the afternoon brought home these massive balloons haha they were so awesome and B loved them. Its kind of become a tradition that for birthdays and Valentines day he gets these life size balloons, and with bostyn now, I'm sure he'll keep doing it. I got him a really nice picture frame and put a picture in it for his desk at work, with some of his favorite treats and notes on them. On pinterest I saw a really cool idea with a deck of cards. I made Mckay a book out of them that was 52 reasons I love you. It was really hard, but worth it in the end.  The night ended up with us watching all 10 of the basketball games that were on tv of course, but thats why I love him. I know I give him a really hard time about his sports obsession, but those are the little things that I really do love about him. We may drive each other crazy sometimes, and know just what buttons to push to put each other over the edge, tease each other, be silly together, weird together, all of the above. but were so much a like. We don't take crap from people and we stand up for each other, when necessary. It is what it is, and we are what we are. Take it or leave it.
Mckay and I were talking last night about how its crazy how things turn out, which eventually turned into us talking about how we met.  Im so thankful for this guy and all that he does. He works really hard, and has great ambitions and goals. Im so happy about where we are in our lives. We don't need a lot which make us appreciate everything we get even more.  Hope everyone had a great valentines day!
