Bye Bye Big Red Dodge

So Mckay and I have had a pretty stressful week. We recieved a letter in the mail about 12 days ago from Brent Brown wanting to buy Mckays truck. He only has 10 grand left on his loan and he paid about 19 for it, they were offering 21. So we thought hey, we'll look into it. It got our minds rolling around in the idea of selling it and getting something smaller we could pay cash for so we wouldnt have any payments on one of our cars. And were also going to be moving in about a year and will probably be starting a family. We looked into it a little bit more and checked into more dealerships to see what they could offer us for it. They all said the same thing, plus they wanted a trade in for it. They're all liars and tried to play mind games with us. Mckay and I hate car dealers( no offence to any one who is at all related to one) so we were so sick of dealing with them, and didnt have a good feeling about any one whe had talked to. Mac got more and more frustrated looking at cars because he couldnt find anything that he felt good about, and the thought of getting rid of the truck makes us so sad. We LOVE that truck and have has so many good time with it and its so convienent. But we kinda felt like there was a reason we got the letter in the mail, like there is a reason we were supposed to sell it. So its been a couple weeks and finally Mac got so frustrated last night and thought why not put it on KSL. So He put in on KSL for 22, 800 and got a call this morning by like a 60 year old man saying that he wanted to buy it right now. He didnt even care to test drive it he just wanted it. So Mac told him he would meet him somewhere and chat for a bit. The guy said he had been looking for a truch for 2 years and hadnt found anything he like or felt good about buying. And when he saw Macs he know it was the one. Mac said the guys was super nice and he had a good feeling about him and shook hands on it.

Some how I feel like it was ment to be. I dont know if were going to have something hard come up in our lives soon and wont be able to keep it, or if something is going to happen with school or our jobs, But I've been praying really hard about it and just wanted to make sure that whatever we did was the right thing and that we felt good about it. Thats what was really the most important thing to us. But there will always be another truck to buy and I know mac will get another one agian but for now we will be just fine without one. Our friends will still like us. We'll still go camping and go on trips. Everything happens for a reason. The End
