One Fantastic Weekend!

This was such a special week for us! I'm really sad I didn't get any pictures, because it was so amazing! Mac and I drove down to to Vegas for our anniversary on Wednesday and stayed at the Mandalay Bay. But for being such a great weekend something had to go wrong right? K so I go into the Hotel to check in to our suite while mac waited in the car. As I approached the front desk the lines were crazy long so I stood there for a while. When I finally got to the front of the line this Indian woman asked for my last name so I gave it to her. She typed it in to the computer and kinda paused for a minute and tilted her head to the side like she was really confused. I pulled out our conformation number to try to help her out a bit. she took it from me and typed it in and paused again. And she said. "Your a no show." and I said "No I'm not Im here" and she said it again, "Your a no show"  She said that our reservation was for Monday. And I told her that there had to be a mistake and all she said was. "no mistake, your a no show" and I'm like no I'm not stop saying that!!!! She was the most annoying person to talk to. So I'm like ok then, can I just get another room, my husband and I came all the way down from Utah for our anniversary. She said there was nothing else available, and that there was nothing she could do for me. So at that point I'm like balling because she was being so gay about it. So I told her I wanted my money back and that she basically sucked as a hotel person worker or whatever she was... just kidding I didn't but I really wanted to. I get out to the car and I'm crying so McKay gets upset and goes inside and talked to another guy and fixed it. I don't know how he does it but he can seriously sweet talk anyone. It ended up being great and everything worked out with the room! The pool was Amazing! We went swimming and shopping then went to dinner at the cheesecake factory. Then after that we went the the bodies exhibit that they have at the luxor. Coolest thing ever!!!!!!!!! Then went back to our hotel. Mac had a couple surprises for me. :) Ever since we started dating, I mean since the exact day May 15. He has kept every receipt, movie ticket, plane ticket, honeymoon ticket, every trip receipt, I mean every memory we have had  up to our first year together, he put in a picture frame. He kept it all in a box. Sooooooooo cute!! Then I opened a box, that had another box, that had a little black velvet box, in that , had 2 wedding bands in it! I was so surprised! defiantly not expecting that. He knew I wanted to get them at a special occasion. Our one year was the best!  All I can say is that I have the most amazing husband in the whole world. I Love him!

Then we met up with our friends Jessica and Skyler for dinner in St George. We went to Olive Garden, then met up with Cam and Maranda and went hot tubbin at their condo. Everyone was coming down for Chan and Jens Wedding. It was so great to have all the friends down together for such an awesome event. Were so happy for Jen and Chan and love them to death. They got married in the St George temple and it was beautiful. The sealing was so amazing,  the best one yet, they just seem to be getting better and better. Mac was one of the groomsman and is always so happy to be with his friends everyone has so much fun together! Its such a blessing to have so many good close friend. We love you all.
