I had a Dr's appointment on 12th which was my due date. I wasn't feeling very hopeful about her coming on time, I was really starting to think I was gonna have to be induced a week late. But when the Dr came in and checked me I was at a 3, so he was actually able to strip my membranes to hopefully speed things along. I was feeling contractions all that day but they weren't close enough together, so I really didn't want to go in. The contractions had stopped the next morning, so I was actually feeling really disappointed. Sunday morning came around and it had now been about 4 days passed my due date. About 6 am I thought that my water had broke, but it was hard to know for sure because I felt a gush of liquid come out after I had got up to go to the bathroom and it was dark so I couldn't really see anything, but I started to think it hadent yet because I thought that I would really know if my water had broke. I had this feeling to go in for the rest of the day but put it off till about 9 I told Mac that we'd better go in just to see. The nurse told me that it hadnt, but she checked to see how dilated I was and I was STILL A 3! I was so discouraged. As soon as we pulled into the house I was feeling the heaviest contractions! And I was so mad because we had just left the hospital. So I just dealt with them them WHOLE night and they were INTENCE! That morning I was balling in pain and so uncomfortable but really thought I was going to get turned away again if I went in, but around 11 am I couldn't take it anymore and told mac that we needed to go. When I checked in the nurse came in and I told her what happened. When she checked me I was a 4! I was so happy! She told me I could stay and sent in the anesthesiologist to give me my epidural. From that point on it was the most amazing experience! Everything went so smooth and I was so exciting. I was in labor for 7 hours but I didn't care because I was numb and I knew that I was soon going to be meeting our precious baby Bostyn. Delivery couldn't have gone better. I had the BEST Dr and great nurses. After 25 minutes of pushing are beautiful baby girl was here!!!!!!!
