This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family in Phoenix and had a blast! We had the traditional turkey, stuffing and of course my moms home made rolls which are amazing!!!! They boys did some shooting and watched games and the girls did lots of shopping and playing. It was kinda weird to have such a warm Thanksgiving but it was so good to see my aunt and uncle and my cousins.
We left on Tuesday at 6:30 pm because that was the earliest that we could, because of work and school schedules. We planned on just driving to St George for the night and waking up the next morning and heading to Mesa. But because were awesome and live on the edge, we decided to drive straight through to mesa, although its a 10 hour drive, not including stops! With a 10 month old its kind of impossible. Bostyn actually did ok, she just slept through the night which we knew was going to be a plus. I drove from our house to vegas which was at 2 am, then Mac switched me and drove the rest of the way. It was miserable! From about 12 am to 4 am it was a struggle, but then after that you are so tired that you forget your tired. We finally got there about 7 am, and took a BIG fat nap!
It really was such a fun trip and such a great Thanksgiving. Here are some pics!
