Sold!!!

Yep that's right! We sold our condo, and we are so excited! We actually put it up for sale I think Halloween Day, and it sold 2 weeks later! We sold it to a really nice couple who want to invest in restate, and when they saw ours, and how cute it was and well kept and clean, they decided they wanted it. They had cash, which was awesome, so we dont have to deal much at all with the bank and all their junk. It was actually pretty simple.

They called us about a week after we put it on and explained their situation, and to me there couldn't possible be anyone else to come through with a better circumstance. Cash, investor wanting to rent it out, didn't need a loan, nothing. I was trying not to get my hopes up when they left from seeing it, but they actually sent an email 2 days later with an offer. It was a low ball offer which was kind of to be expected, but we counter offered with what we felt comfortable with, and they texted us a couple nights later while mac and I were at dinner and excepted it!

The only problem was that it was the day before we left to Arizona. We were really worried about a week going by and having them back out of the sale. But it worked out :)

I do have mixed feeling however. Not about the sale, but just that its been our home since we got married.  Its all we've known. We have lots and lots of memories in it from newly weds to know, and its kind of sad in a way to leave that, but we just felt like it was the right thing to do. We knew obviously that we weren't going to live there forever and that it was just the beginning of our life. I remember them handing us the key's a couple days before we were married and having a the feeling of "home" something that was ours that we owned. But I'm really excited to be away from the crazy people that live here. Who by the way are moving too hahaha funny how things work out.

Where are we moving might you ask??................... Mckay's grandmas house!!!!!!!! Wahoo!! Its not as bad as its sounds though so its ok, were not actually moving in with her, which I'm sure she would quite enjoy. She lives in a rest home now, so her house in Orem is just sitting, and Mckays family is going to help us out and let us live there for a while Mckay is in school, or we figure something else out.  Were really looking forward to starting a new chapter and a new phase of life. :)
