Halloween 2013

I really don't love halloween! In fact I love when its over, so I can start looking forward to the real holidays like Thanksgiving.  With little kids, its so much better to go earlier in the evening before it gets too cold and dark, however, that meant Mac couldn't go trick or treating with us because he doesn't get off till about 6 :(  which TOTALLY SUCKED!  Bostyn and I ended up going with grandma and grandpa which is always fun!! We had a really good time! 

We picked a minion for her for, well... first for the obvious reason that minions are awesome. Second because she's obsessed with the movie! Seriously, she's seen the first one, I cant even guess on a number, but sooooooo many times! The second move she's seen 4 times at the theater. So we thought the costume would be awesome for her, and it didn't cost much at all. My best friends sister made the hat for me. I ordered the tutu off Etsy, and the shirt came from old navy. It was a great costume for a 22 month old. 

We went trick or treating around my mom and dads neighborhood in highland which I love! Lots of little kids and super nice area. It took her a bit to get the hang of it, but after a few houses she started getting really good at collecting candy... Every year gets better and better with her... But again, was super lame with out Mckay. I didn't get any pictures of him with Bostyn. By the time he got out there it was almost 7. So we just got pizzas with my mom and dad and ate dinner with them.

Hope everyone had a lovely Halloween! Now its time for Thanksgiving decor, and Christmas music over here at the Huish's. Wahoo!!!! Best time of the year starts now!
