some randomness

Well not a whole lot to report, this last week has been pretty slow for us.  Mckay is gone all day everyday, sometimes till 10 which kinda sucks so nothing too exciting.

Bostyn:   Bostyn is still as cute as ever! Cant believe she is already 5 weeks old! Were having so much fun watching her change and seeing her grow! Being a mommy is the best and I couldn't have asked for a better baby! She's doing a little better at nights, she wakes up about 2 times still but were just really having trouble getting her to sleep in her crib. Since day one we started her in there and she has HATED it. She just doesn't like the big space, she realizes where she is and freaks out! getting 6 hours sleep max is already hard enough, we get half that when shes in her crib. The other night my shift with her was not so good. It was like 3 in the morning and she had SO MUCH energy! I couldn't get her to calm down, she started crying too for no reason after I fed her and changed her diaper and went through the whole list. So I finally had to go lay her down in her crib and just let her cry it out. It was complete torture! I just sat on the floor and cried next to her door, but I'm really trying to get her used to her crib. Unfortunately she cried for about a half hour straight so I had to pick her up and calm her down. It was so sad, I'm sure most of you mothers have had similar experiences, and know how if feels to listen to your baby cry like that.  Other then sleeping some nights, she has been just perfect! Mckay gets more and more attached to her everyday, and a little more protective its so fun to watch him play with her.....and when I say play it usually means her sitting next to him while he's on the X Box hahah.  Its quite funny! She so funny when I turn music on she totally starts moving her arms and her body like shes dancing haha its awesome! But really not a ton going on with us right now but here are a few things from last week!

Mac:  Mckay is really busy with work and school like always it seems. Mondays and Tuesdays he's gone from 8am-10pm! Those days are rough! Mornings he goes to math, then work till 5 then to his CNA class till about 9:30 The rest of the week is work.  I really wish there was more to report on his life, but sadly thats it for him right now.  But he loves seeing his friends when we can! We do our best to make that work, so he can also have some stress free time with his friends.

Ash: For me! I'm just loving being a mommy! Its harder then I expected. Not being able to sleep, eat, go to the bathroom and so on haha but I'm loving more then I thought I would.  I'm surprised to say though that I miss working, Mac and I talked about me going back in a few months. I need the balance if work and home.  As much as I would love to run an office again I'll probably just do assisting part time. I couldn't handle being away from bostyn full time. So sometime in the future I'll be working again. But as of now, I'm happy home with my bostyn. At night I really enjoy going to cycling with my sister! Its really helping me feel like my self again and get my body back!!!

update, update, update!

Its so time for an update!!!! I've been such a slacker on my postings! Its been a really crazy summer though, we've had TONZ going on. Here's whats happened:

May was a really exciting month for us announcing the baby on the way! I was mostly just really tired the first few weeks of that. But we had a lot of birthdays to celebrate which was fun. We had my dads, then my sisters a couple weeks later then my nephews.
Mac and I have been working our little hearts out and mentally and financially preparing for the baby( as much and possible). He is still planning on working full time through the fall at the family business until the spring, Then he'll go back and finish up school. He is still planning on nursing, however, the idea of pharmaceutical sales had been swishing around in his brain. He would really be amazing with either of those, but that's the plan thus far.
June was when it hit for me as far as the sickness of pregnancy goes. I have been really really sick since about 7 weeks. I'm now 15 weeks and its getting WORSE! UGH! Its never ending, and I've been working full time on top of it, but hearing the heartbeat for the first time was so amazing and has made me feel that its all for something. There is actually something in there! Even though there was only one heartbeat Mac is still convinced there are two. The doctor told him the only way that is still possible is if the heartbeats were matching up at the exact same time. Me being pregnant hadn't really sunk in until we heard the heartbeat, so it was really cool.
July has been the craziest! McKay's sister Heather got married in the Draper temple which was beautiful! We did the 4th of July parade, we went to the stadium of fire (Brad Paisley was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!)
Then we went to Idaho for my Grandma and Grandpas 50th Wedding anniversary! It was a party! They are the cutest old couple in the world and it was such a fun celebration. We also when boating with all of
McKay's friends and watched fireworks on the beach and went camping last weekend as well. Its nice to get some fresh air every once in a while when I feel up to it. I dont have pictures right now I'll post them when I get them back :) Happy summer!

lately

Holy crap!!! This has been such a crazy couple months! I don't know where this year has gone! Sometimes I get the days mixed up because their so busy and Mac and I are gone all the time and only see each other at night.
 Work has been so crazy, busy as ever but I'm still enjoying it, I think its worse to be sitting at home doing nothing all day than staying busy. I would go more insane! I just got home from a conference in Phoenix It was really fun but talking about Dental Marketing for 3 days straight gets a little old.
I'm glad that I can work. I'm so thankful for such a great job that blessing McKay and I with so much! Even though things get a bit busy.....wait I take it back not just busy.....pure insanity!!!!!!!!! That office is out of control!  Some times I get so frustrated when lazy people complain about going to work a couple times a week if that! AH! it kills me! Lazy people should not complain. OK sorry, had to get that out.

We went to St George with McKay's sister and hung out down there a couple weekends ago, then were going to Arizona for my cousins wedding next weekend and I'm so excited to see him!

Mac is doing good. He is taking the summer off of school to work then he'll go back in the fall. So were really excited to enjoy the summer together! I just love him. :) Hes doing soft ball right now with his buddies and I went to his game last night. Then after we went to dinner with everyone.  It was really good to see them and get together because its been so long since we've seen them. Those boys together are hilarious!

But I'm so excited for summer! It's gonna be a great one! Were just loving life :)

as of late.....

So work is going fantastic..... a little hectic but good. I'm loving it because my friend Angel Blaine works there now....she pretty much rocks!
McKay is doing great at work and school as well..
We've been hanging out with friends a lot and relaxing...
We have plans to go away for Easter weekend so it will be nice to get away and GO SOME WHERE WARM!
I'm super sick of the weather though...right?  I mean its so ridiculous! I saw a girl tonight when we were out at dinner and she was wearing her long pants and uggs, a wool winter coat and hat and gloves.... me on the other hand cant face the fact that its actually snowing out side, so I wear flip flops and a t-shirt.......I'm in denial.
About called the cops on our neighbors again for being abusive to each other.... this time he cheated on her and I'm pretty sure she threw a chair at him.... yeah pretty weird....I've never seen or met them but amazingly I know their marital problems, so anyway.....
Not a whole lot has happened with us, kinda the same old  but lovin being married :)

Latley..

 Its been too long since I've updated my blog. After my surgery and with the Holidays things have been so crazy busy. This was our second Christmas together and it was so perfect!  We spent a cozy Christmas at the cabin. There was so much snow! We stayed up there Christmas Eve and had Christmas morning there.Mckay got me a recording studio time at my favorite studio! I'm SO EXCITED! I cant wait to record another CD! I've just gotten so busy after getting married and work that I haven't been able to to a whole lot with my music, so I cant wait to get back into it again! I got Mckay his Michael Jordan basketball shoes hes been wanting, so he was excited about that. He's going to start coaching basketball and is really looking forward to it.
Work has been going so good! I'm loving my job since I had my promotion! Although, I think its time for another Vacation.  :)I want to go to Hawaii again, but I'm not sure when that's going to happen, but were thinking about going to California in February with some friends sorta for Valentines Day, we'll have to play it by ear, because I'm going to be traveling now for work,  but its defiantly in the works. :) Tonight we had dinner and watched a movie with some really good friends. It was really good to catch up with everyone again. We love doing stuff with friends as much as we can.
McKay starts school again in January, still finishing up his pre reqs for nursing. With my promotion he will be able to focus on school instead of work so that's going to be really good
But things have been going so well and were so excited about the new year :)
